  Although the staff were lovely, our room (203) was far from what we expected! We were provided with dirty and ripped towels, our shower did not work properly, although the water came out nice and hot, the head was broken and the water only sprayed onto the wall behind. The sink was disgusting, it was stained and dirty and the walls in the main room were dirty and stained and in need of being wiped down - I have attached photographs.
  I often read reviews and when I read one that is not in keeping with others I tend to think that the hotel had a particularly awkward client, but at £117.98 for a one night stay I don't think that I am being awkward when I say that I was expecting higher standards of cleanliness and surely clean towels in any hotel are a must?

  A little confusing at first the reception is at the end of the bar in the pub. Staff accommodating.rooms of a decent size with an ample size on ensuite If honest a little t.l.c required. otherwise a good base to explore the local area
